Join an exciting GPS/Mobility Company as their new Social Media and Communications Specialist. The company is 15 years old and an industry leader with an established clientele. Our client helps organizations who maintain vehicle fleets drive cost savings, increase productivity, improve customer service and foster a safer work environment.
The marketing team at our client seeks an energetic and digital savvy social media and corporate communications content manager to join our growing team and act as the subject expert in social media marketing and corporate communications, including: search engine optimization, PR, copy writing, social account management, brand reputation management and real-time social conversations. 

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage and report on all activities related to:
    • Customer Service Policy and Brand Reputation
    • Social Media Management
      • Social Media Paid and Organic Marketing
      • Social Media App Creation and Management
      • Community Engagement (responding to all comments, social sentiment listening, engaging conversations, and interacting with followers
    • Search Engine Optimization:
      • Keyword Research and Analysis
      • Social Media SEO (Blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Yelp)
      • Link Building (guest blogging, article marketing, directory submissions, link reciprocations)
    • Reporting and Analysis
    • Website Management, Copy Editing and creation
    • Content Development
      • Content Strategy & Mapping (Act-On, Dynamic Content for website and emails, email marketing/templates)
      • Content Marketing and Community (branding, PR, native advertising, contextual ads)
    • Corporate Communications Management
      • Press Releases
      • Branding
      • Fleet Management Community
      • Cause Marketing Management, Development and News
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (designers, copywriters, sales, client success, sales, vendors, etc.)
    • Stay current with trends and technology in social media, identifies opportunities to apply innovative technology and techniques to platforms to gain efficiency and effectiveness
Personal Skills/Attributes/Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of combined experience in copywriting, corporate communications, and social media management
  • Degree in Journalism, Marketing Communications, relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Must have excellent writing skills, deep understanding of online best practices, and the ability to write about complex subjects in a way that is interesting and easy-to-read for the average website/social media user
  • Working knowledge of social media copywriting techniques, best practices and familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web and social media
  • Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Team player and self-starter
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Skilled in Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop a plus
  • Experienced with PR tools and Social Media Management software preferred
  • Basic HTML and web publishing technical knowledge
  • Basic Google Analytics experience required, certification is a strong plus
